Tachograph Veeder-Root 2400, 24V, 140 km/h

The Veeder Root 2400 tachograph manufactured by Stoneridge Electronics is designed in a radio format and can be used on trucks Mercedes, Man, Volvo, Iveco, Renault, DAF, Ford, Kamaz, MAZ, Kraz, Ural, ZIL, GAZ, Gazelle and others.

The VR 2400 is an intermediate option between a digital tachograph and an analog one, since it uses electronic control circuits, but the tachograph remains the information carrier.

The VR-2400 tachograph works with standard tachographs, the type correspondence of which is given in the tachograph passport and on the tachographs themselves.

The VR-2400 is distinguished by one very important feature - the ability to work with various types of pulse sensors, including encrypted ones. At the moment, only this tachograph model has this characteristic. For other models, it is necessary to install only a sensor type compatible with them.

The tachograph receiver, display and device parts are electronically and mechanically protected from opening while driving and can be opened (when installing and removing tachograms) only when the vehicle is completely stopped and the ignition is on.

The upper right corner of the display (odometer) indicates mileage up to 1/10 km in seven digits. Real time is shown in the lower right corner of the display in four digits (24-hour option). The vehicle speed is shown on the display on the left.

The tachograph is designed for use by two drivers. Thus, adjacent to the display there are two adjustments, each of which is a Driver Duty button and three light emitting diodes (LEDs) displaying different operating modes. Three more buttons on the tachograph are located below the display. The left button switches modes, the center button enables additional functions, and the right button is the ejector button.

The tachograph measures and displays local time in the hour: minute: second format. The error in time measurement should not exceed ±2 seconds per 24 hours

The Veeder Root tachograph is available in various versions:

  • for 12 or 24 volts
  • with or without screen
  • for one or two drivers
  • for different speed ranges (25 -125, 25 -140, 25 -160, 30 -180 km/h)
