The CT590 S is Midland's new two-band amateur radio.
The CT590 S is easy to use, ideal for those who need a "basic" device, but at the same time with advanced functionality.
The strength and reliability of the design is guaranteed by the aluminum chassis. The CT590 operates in the VHF 136-174 MHz and UHF 400-480 MHz frequency bands and has 128 storable channels. High performance guarantees excellent communication even over long distances, including thanks to the 1750 Hz tone signal for access to relay bridges.
The CT590 S has a flashlight, an 87.5-108 MHz FM radio, 50 CTCSS tones and 208 DCS codes that allow you to create "sub-channels" to communicate with small groups of people.
The CT590 S also allows you to configure your ID (ANI-ID) and be able to send it during transmission (PTT-ID).
The liquid crystal display has 3 different backlight colors to choose from, which are related to the operating modes (reception, transmission, etc.)
The radio can be programmed with the optional RPG-10 software to install and configure several functions, such as the number of channels, frequency, etc.
